A year ago another culinary specialist, Daniel Sicilia, landed at Jiko – The Cooking Place, the mark feasting eatery at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, and as of late the new Pastry Chef Michael Craig joined the group in the kitchen. Disney has reported a couple of new menu things at Jiko including Durham Ranch elk loin and Mrouzia-style sheep tagine.
A few Disney-range eateries got the 2017 Golden Fork Award from the Orlando Family Magazine. The honors perceive the “20 best dishes in Greater Orlando.” Winners include: Fried Chicken and Doughnuts from Chef Art Smith’s Homecoming Florida Kitchen, Braised Lamb Osso Bucco from Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe, Morimoto “Buri-Bop” from Morimoto Asia, and Miso Glazed Mero from Todd English’s bluezoo.
